Projects are used to assemble resources, assign tasks, manage documents and (optionally) generate reports. They may be arranged in a hierarchy and while membership of a project team is required in order to participate, NetTeam Server also offers a review mode (subject to privilege) that permits browsing all projects and tasks.

The project team-bar presents avatars (photos with full contact details attached) of all team members. This greatly enhances the sense of shared mission and is particularly effective for distributed workgroups where members may not meet in person very often.
